Providing young people (aged 18 to 25) who are care-experienced or at risk of homelessness with an introduction to working in the food industry.

Through a mix of training, workshops, and paid work experience, the programme offers a gateway into permanent employment, while helping participants build confidence and develop essential workplace skills.

The programme was developed by one of our resident chefs, Tom, who, with 8 years of experience as a youth worker supporting young people with complex needs, saw an opportunity for The Salad Kitchen to drive real change and have a positive impact on the community.
